I wanted to do a simple drawing. A break from all my folio work. A release. An escape. Something free. I've been inspired by two of my favorite artists - [=artsaves1228 and *glittersniffer] with the way they do simple drawings with a bold flash of colour. So i gave that style a try and quite enjoy the result. Its nothing special i suppose. Not as involved as i normally do but i still like it. For the grey and blue washes i used a new type of pencil and instantly fell in love. If you haven't already tried out - Derwent Graphitint [link] - then i seriously recommend giving them a go. I've never used them before but they were so easy to use as they are pretty similar to watercolours. I had a lot of fun with them will definitely be using them again! Im hoping to get some of my folio work done soon so i can show you all how im going with it. But its big and so very very hard to work on. Im feeling pretty uninspired to finish it right now.
