This was drawn straight after my 'Vulture' piece and almost entirely inked and coloured in a few days and then all of a sudden i coulnt work on it anymore. I hate when that happens. I just lose interest or ... lose something that makes me want to work on anything too quickly. But i really wanted to try and just DRAW, you know ?

It was about me feeling like i dont have control over my life - what i do or how i feel about things. I want to have control and be assertive enough to make the right decisions and do the right thing.
I want to cut off the strings that are making me a puppet and i want to become the puppeteer. I want to be the one pulling the strings and making the choices for myself not the other way round.
I hate letting people walk over me.

The puppets strings are being cut by the scissors coming out of the insides, they fly with the birds - and once again i use my birds to symbolize freedom - flight escape release - the scissors give me relief from the strings that pull me and i gain freedom from this cage, like the birds within me, bursting free as i change into who i really am.
My ribs are a cage for the birds within trying to gain freedom - they are like a living fluttering soul inside and it cannot be contained. I am bursting.

I don't even feel anything about this, apart from a small release of my emotions that have been building up, and its better than the hollow nothing of some of the previous weeks.
Im not doing so good being back to studying after my break [in which i worked all the way through anyway so it wasn't much of a holiday], i dont know what it is but im finding it harder and harder to concentrate on assignments and to the lectures.

I dont know why but i feel so uninterested in it all right now.
And its hard to cut those strings when its so easy letting others do all the work.
No.
No i dont feel that way, i think change is hard, thats all. But that isnt something new to humankind.

Im tempted to ask for critique, i want to improve and change so much, but i find it hard to ask people to pick at my heart when its already tattered to begin with....

I need to pull my head out though.. i think... get over myself and do something with myself instead of venting and leaving it at that.
